After trying several types of ice traction devices, Our main use is for clearing our 200 foot down sloped and banked driveway and these are by far the best! ...Pushing a 396# snow blower gravity wants to take over and with the Yaktrax Pro I haven't slipped, or fallen yet. ...I recomend the Pro version over the straight Yaktrax. The strap over the top of your shoes holds the pro on your shoes.

| I've tried several types of ice creepers, and these are by far the best!
...I walk about two miles a day with my Labrador retriever, mostly on ice and snow covered surfaces, and haven't slipped, or fallen yet.
...They are especially effective on slippery snow packed surfaces.
...They could however, be slightly more aggressive for glare ice conditions.

Just got these for ice storm that came through. These are by far the best product I have bought to make me feel safer walking in icy conditions on all kinds of terrain, even on icy roof tops! Showed my lineman buddies and we ordered 13 more pairs. Maybe it won't ice again now!

Love everything about these YakTrax. They are easy to put on and take off, and they are wonderful on ice and snow. Not really comfortable walking on concrete between ice patches, but that is just a minor irritation.

Even in Seattle it sometimes snows - like the week after I bought these. They work well on soft snow and icy surfaces - and are OK on cleared sidewalks too. They fit well and stay in place using the (removable) velcro strap. Without them I was always nervous walking in snowy conditions; now its no trouble!!

Over the years the postal service has provided us with foot protection against ice and snow. They turned out to be cheap and worthless. I decided to invest in some Yaktrax Pro and it was the best thing I ever did. I loved them so much I ordered a pair for my son in law who is an EMT and also has to be out in bad weather. This is a fantastic product.

I've had yak trax for years, I have a hard time walking due to a car accident, and slipping is a big phobia of mine! The regular yak trax are JUST AS GOOD (& cheaper! The ONLY problem I've had with these are walking on short carpet... it gets stuck & becomes a trip hazard, and will break the product eventually! (its happened to 2 of mine) other then that its a MUST for outdoor walking in the winter!!
